NFL Week 18

Updated: Jan 14, 2022

Our last week of the NFL has been a great one! We have had 2 exciting overtime games, some upsets, and some nail biters. We had the Ravens vs. Steelers, which may have been Big Ben Roethlisberger's last NFL game ever. He was able to throw for 30/44 for 244 yards, 1 interception, and 1 touchdown as the Pittsburg Steelers would barely beat the Baltimore Ravens in Baltimore. This will push the Steelers into a playoff spot. Another big game was the 49ers vs. Rams. This game also went to overtime. The Rams needed a win to get the number 2 seed and clinch the division, but since the Arizona Cardinals lost to the Seattle Seahawks, the Ram's loss didn't matter. Jimmy Garoppolo threw for 316 yards, 1 touchdown, and 2 interceptions. Mathew Stafford threw an interception at the end of overtime to give the 49ers a playoff spot. One upset today was the Green Bay Packers losing to the Detroit Lions. The Packers started out the game with all of their starters until they got a comfortable lead. The Packers did just that and went to all of their backups. The backups were the reason that Green Bay lost this game. Another big upset is that the Colts lost to the Jaguars. The rookie quarterback for the Jags, Trevor Lawrence did have a good game. Lawrence threw for 23/32 for 223 yards, 2 touchdowns, and no interceptions. Trevor Lawrence did have one very good play. The play is shown right down below the football. The Colts are now kicked out of the playoffs. I will put a picture of the AFC and NFC playoff picture in our article section once I have all of that information. Thanks for reading.
