The Washington Football Team has changed their name to the Washington Commanders. We thought that they were going to change their names to the Wolves or Red Wolves, but they are now the Washington Commanders. Washington has a line of team names. They were first called the Washington Redskins, but then became the Washington Football team because the Redskins name was offensive to the Native Americans. They now have became the Washington Commanders and will be called that for the nest coming seasons.
