As sad as it is, the legendary quarterback Tom Brady has retired. Some people over the country aren't sad, some people hated Tom Brady and said some really mean things about him, just listen to 'The Man In The Arena'. But I'm sure that everybody reading this article liked Tom Brady. Tom Brady or the G.O.A.T threw for a completion rate of 64.2 for 84,520
yards, 624 touchdowns, and 203 interceptions over his career of 22 years. We all thought that Brady would keep going until he was older than he is now, but he must think that it is the right time. The story of the G.O.A.T is amazing. Tom Brady went to Michigan for College and surprisingly wasn't the superstar in college. Brady won 6 amazing super bowls out of 20 years with the Patriots. Tom Brady got picked in the 6th round by legendary coach Bill Belichick (the Patriots) in the NFL 2000 draft. The Patriots were not the best team in the NFL at the time, but they were lead by a good quarterback named Drew Bledsoe, but the Patriots were still bad. One day, Drew Bledsoe got hurt, and Tom Brady went in, and he did pretty good. Brady would say "If they put me on the field, they're not taking me off". The next week, Drew Bledsoe came back and did terrible and had a really bad week, so they bench Bledsoe and put in Tom Brady, and that's how it happened. Tom Brady would eventually become the starting quarterback for the New England Patriots and won 6 super bowls out of 20 seasons. Tom Brady won 7 super bowls in his life, 6 in New England, and one in Tampa Bay. It is sad that Brady's last game ever will go down as a loss. We all knew that Brady wanted to one just one more super bowl. Over the years, Tom Brady showed perseverance, courage, and leadership. I think that one of the main reasons that Tom Brady retired was because he is going to spend more time with his family. It is sad, that we have to watch Tom Brady go, but we will all love the G.O.A.T. Long live Tom Brady.
