Michigan Crowned NCAAF Champions

Michigan had a great season this year even though they didn't have the toughest schedule in the big 10. Despite that, they were able to come out with an outstanding win against Alabama that even went into overtime. J.J. McCarthy, even through all the celebration said, "we still have one more to go". That was true indeed and it was going to be a tough game against #2 ranked Washington from the pac 12. Their quarterback, Michael Penix jr. was a nominee for the Heisman and is an outstanding field general who has an ultimate set of options to throw to. Michigan knew this would be a tough game coming in and knew they had to get the run game going. In the opening of the game, it was all run from Michigan with the O line providing big gaps for the shifty running back to sprint through for big plays. After an early 7-0 start from Michigan, Washington responded by driving down the field and establishing the run and the pass game with everything working, but the Wolverines stopped theme at the goal line and forced a 7-3 score. From there on, Michigan dominated Washington with big offensive plays and being lockdown on defense. Washington got a quick touchdown before the half ended and the score was 17-10 Michigan, going into the locker room. After halftime, Michigan was ready to pound and expand the league. Washington had some breakaways but it was pretty much Michigan controlling the second half with an amazing run game, and some deep passes for nice gains that gave them a good shot at victory. Washington had chances to catch up in the 4th quarter but never did. Michigan capitalized on the turnovers and strived to victory winning 34-13. Michigan is now said to be the best college football team in 2024, but I would really like to watch them play against Georgia. Anyways, congratulations to Michigan on being the 2024 NCAAF Champions.
